Site (plus a few additions)

Two weeks before the contest:
(Ensure these items are current and will be current for the contest
date. These items take time to fix!!)

Check parachute will be current (repack within 120 days of contest dates).

Check Insurance paperwork to ensure aircraft has 1 Million liability coverage.
Call Falcon Agency if you need coverage at 1-866-620-4IAC (866-620-4422) .

Check Aircraft will be in annual.

Check that your Medical will be current.
-
Check that your BFR (or the equivalent for you ATP types!) will be current.

Check that aircraft has functioning radio (receive only is necessary).
-
Check that your Free forms (A, B, C) are approved and signed. (This is
for Intermediate, Advanced, and Unlimitted. Also applies to Sportsman if
you have worked up an alternative Free program. Note that most Sportsman
just fly the 'Known' for the free.)

Motel Reservations made (as required). Ditto for rental car, unless you
are like me and just bum rides.

Call the Contest Director for any special instructions.

Take to contest:
- NOTE: the documents marked by a
"*" are REQUIRED to register for the contest ... no exceptions! (our
Sanction and insurance requires it!). See the Red Book for more details.

Pouch with:

Aircraft Logbook with current annual inspection signoff (xerox
copy is now allowed)*

Engine Logbook with current annual inspection signoff (xerox
copy is now allowed)*

Proof of sufficient Liability Insurance*

Pilots Certificate*

Current Pilot Medical*

Current IAC and EAA member cards (you can join at the contest).

Checkbook ($$)

Copies of your Free Style A,B,C (need 1 copy minimum) (take 7 A's,
and 14 B's and 14 C's, the numbers however vary for different contests)

OPTIONAL: Registration Form (find at IAC web
site -- postscript format) -- for owner's signature on back if not
attending the contest

Red Rule Book and Blue Aresti book (optional, good to verify Unknown's)

Check Aircraft for ARROW documents:

Airworthiness Certificate*

Registration Certificate*

Operating limitations*

Weight and Balance documents for your particular aircraft*. Generic
weight and balance documents are not sufficient.

Parachute (and current pack card)*

Navigation equipment (GPS, Loran, VOR, as appropriate) with antenna and
extra batteries (handheld) (as required)

Hand-held comm radio (as required)

Battery charger for hand-held (for aircraft without electrical system)

Current navigational charts

Helmet and headset
-
Fuel filler hose (Pitts types) (optional)

Oil filler spout (optional)

Battery charger (for AC with battery but no generator)

Fuel aircraft (as required) (Plan to end up at contest with approx. amount
of fuel you plan to fly acro with, but no less than 1/2 hours flying time,
the legal FAA limit. The lower limit during contests does NOT apply to
your arrival).

Misc. tools (screwdriver, etc)

Sun Screen (can be very important when you are sitting out at the boundary).
